Planning for the annual Grad Nite is now underway! A party this size will take hundreds of hours and volunteers. Parents, teachers, staff, and community members are needed to help make this a memorable event for Will C. Wood’s Class of 2016. We need dreamers and doers to work before, during or after the event, fundraising, soliciting for prize donations, set design, construction, painting, decorating, food preparation, phone calls, the list goes on and on. All parents, from all grade levels, are encouraged to join the Grad Nite Committee - remember your student will be a senior soon. Please plan to help. We will find just the right spot for you. In the past Grad Nite always had the support of undergraduate parents as a way for them to experience what it actually takes to put on this grand event. See Volunteer tab for a description of how each grade level parent can participate.
Statistics don't lie. Every year kids all over the United States are killed in drinking and driving related incidents. And the numbers increase dramatically when they are celebrating their biggest achievement in their young lives: Graduation.
Will C. Wood Grad Nite is part of a long standing tradition of parents and community volunteers providing a SAFE and SOBER place to have a good time.
